The idea behind Boldhus Teatret was - and still is - to present different and challenging plays and to discover new talents among actors, playwrights, stage designers and directors. Also, to give new opportunities to the already established artists.
Boldhus Teatret was established in 1965 while similar small avant-garde, basement and intimate theaters originated in London, Paris and New York. We are only a few minutes walk from public transportation, so feel free to come over. We look forward to seeing you.
